British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is a program designed to allow the province of British Columbia to nominate foreign nationals who have the skills, experience, and education needed to make an economic contribution to the province. The program offers different streams that target specific groups of individuals, including skilled workers, international graduates, entrepreneurs, and healthcare professionals.

To apply for the BC PNP, you will need to follow these steps:

Determine your eligibility
Review the eligibility criteria for the specific stream that you are interested in, as each stream has its own criteria.
Register and submit your profile
Register and submit your profile online through the BC PNP online system. Your profile will be evaluated based on your skills, experience, and education, and you will receive a score based on the BC PNP's scoring system.
Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
If your score is high enough, you may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the BC PNP. You will have 30 days to submit a complete application.
Apply for permanent residence
If your application is approved, you will receive a provincial nomination from British Columbia. You can then apply for permanent residence through the Express Entry system or directly to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
It is important to note that the BC PNP has specific criteria and requirements for each stream, which may include a job offer, language proficiency, education, and work experience. The program is highly competitive, and meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee that you will receive a nomination from British Columbia.
